The University Cottage Club is available for rentals by members and member sponsored
events when its active members are not using the facility. Non member functions require
a member sponsor.
The clubhouse lends itself to various types of events; weddings, receptions, dinners,
cocktail parties and meetings. As well as being a historic site, the layout provides an
easy flow from room to room, and from the interior to the exterior. It truly is the
perfect spot for a special party.
Beautiful paneling, oriental carpets, large windows, a grand staircase and comfortable
furnishings provide a stately, yet warm atmosphere. A courtyard with a flowing fountain
faces a meticulously landscaped back lawn. Stepping down to the brick walkway and
terrace you may continue to the stone walk leading to a pair of gazebos nestled in the
A dance floor is available for rent, which is generally located in the Palmer Room.
Dance floors may also be set up on the courtyard. Tents may be erected either on the
courtyard, which provides an extra ‘room’ for your guests and protection from the
weather, or on the large back lawn. The courtyard can accommodate a tent up to 30’x50’.
The back lawn can accept a larger tent. The Dining Room seats 106 guests comfortably
with space for some additional tables, if needed.
Seating may also be planned for the courtyard. It is possible to accommodate up to as
many as 200 on the courtyard. Your caterer can arrange additional seating. All rental
are required to use our preferred caterer The rental of linens, glassware and china is
also available through your caterer.

Club rental fees are:
Rooms for cocktails & Dining Room for dinner - $1,250
Dining Room for dinner - $1,000
Receptions: 5 hour reception
$1,500 < 150 guests
$1,750 > 150 guests
Overtime charge per hour $1750

$2,500 > 150 guests
A deposit of $500 is required upon signing an agreement reserving the facility, with
remaining balance due in full 1 week prior to the day of the event.
